Email marketing and cold outreach: sell to people who know you and open new doors

Most email marketing agencies work only your database. We cover the other side too: reaching companies that don't yet know you. We study each company before writing to it, instead of sending thousands of identical emails.

01 · Your own base

Email marketing: your contact list is a sales channel

The database you already have tends to be a company's most underused asset. There's no audience to buy: they already gave you permission.

Newsletters and campaigns Regular communication people actually read: content useful to your customer and offers when the moment fits, not promotions every week.
Automations Sequences that run on their own: welcome, abandoned cart, win-back for inactive customers, and follow-up after a purchase.
Segmentation Each message to the people it's for. A customer who bought a month ago doesn't need the same email as one who hasn't shown up in a year.
Measurement and list hygiene Opens, clicks, and sales attributed by campaign, with dead contacts cleaned out to protect your deliverability.
02 · Cold acquisition

Before we write to a company, we study it

It's the rule we run our own acquisition by, and the same one we apply to our clients'. We look at where a company stands in its market, where it's losing ground to competitors, and what specific signal justifies writing to it.

That fact opens the first email. If there isn't one, we don't write.

High-volume cold emailingHow we do it
Thousands of automated sends a dayLow volume, prospects researched one by one
A template with the name swapped inA first paragraph written for that specific company
A list of services in the first emailOne fact, one proposal, one request for 15 minutes
Sent from the corporate domainA secondary domain, authenticated and warmed up
Measured in emails sentMeasured in meetings booked
03 · How we write

Four touches, one objective per email

A short, courteous sequence performs better than pushing every three days. This is the structure we use, and also what you'll never see in one of our emails.

The sequence

  • Day 1 · the business fact and a specific proposal
  • Day 3 · a second angle, with a different signal
  • Day 7 · the case of a similar company and what it achieved
  • Day 14 · a brief close: if the timing's wrong, we stop writing

About 120 words per email at most, and a single request. The recipient decides in ten seconds, and no one reads a catalog in ten seconds.

What we don't write

  • "I hope this finds you well" and other filler openers
  • Introducing ourselves before saying why we're writing
  • Listing every service the agency offers
  • Two calls to action competing in the same email
  • A misleading subject line the body doesn't deliver on

Every send identifies who's writing and why, and includes a clear way to ask for no more emails. When someone asks, it's honored the same day.

04 · How we work

From the list to the meeting

01
Ideal customer
We define who's worth writing to: sector, size, area, and a role with decision-making authority.
02
Verified list
Contacts located and checked one by one. An email that bounces costs more than one that's never sent.
03
Research and writing
Each prospect is studied before we write. The fact we find sets the angle of the first email.
04
Sending and follow-up
A four-touch sequence, replies handled, and meetings booked straight into your calendar.

Everything that comes in through this channel is logged with its source and its reason for contact, so three months in you can see which type of company responds, which angle converts, and where it's worth pushing. It's the same measurement standard we apply in paid media and SEO.

05 · Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about email marketing and cold acquisition

What's the difference between email marketing and cold outreach?

Email marketing goes to your own database: people who already know you and gave you their address, whom you send newsletters, automations, and campaigns so they buy more and come back. Cold outreach goes to companies you've never spoken with, and it aims to open a new sales conversation. The recipient changes, the message changes, and the metric changes: recurring revenue in the first case, meetings booked in the second.

Is it legal to send cold emails to companies in Spain?

Business-to-business commercial contact is regulated by the LSSI-CE and the GDPR, and we work within that framework: we reach out using professional company data, we always identify who's writing and why, and every send includes a clear way to ask not to be contacted again, which is honored immediately. We don't give legal advice: if your sector has particular requirements, it's worth reviewing them with your legal counsel before you launch.

How many emails do you send per day?

Far fewer than what you'll see advertised. The industry standard is to send thousands of emails a day with automated templates, and that approach burns the domain and the brand's reputation. We work with low volumes and prospects researched one by one: each first email opens with a real fact about the recipient's business.

What response rate can you expect from cold outreach?

It depends on the sector, the role you're writing to, and above all the quality of the list, so giving a fixed figure before we know your case would be making it up. What we do define from the start is the program's goal in meetings booked and how it's measured, with a monthly review of which angle works and which one gets pulled.

Do I need to already have a database?

For email marketing, yes: the work is done on the contacts you already have, organizing and segmenting them. For cold outreach, no, because the list is built from scratch using ideal-customer criteria (sector, size, area, role) and verified contact by contact before anyone is written to.

What happens if my domain ends up flagged as spam?

That's exactly why cold prospecting never goes out from your main domain. A secondary sending domain is set up, with proper authentication and gradual warm-up, so your corporate email stays protected. Low volume and real personalization also help: the filters penalize mass, repetitive sending most of all.
